Abstract Forschungswerkstatt

Here are abstracts from transcripts of podcast sessions that I have recorded and will turn into stories to explore how what we eat influences how we shape schools. By serving up stories and systems where food meets inclusive education, we can explore together complex concepts that are made accessible through food metaphors. Excerpts below show sample themes explored.

Interview with Vicky Truong, Pockets of Change. "my previous work around food was mostly actually focused on identity politics and also the east and southeast and South Asian community, and we looked at how food was able to as a tool to embrace our heritage, one that maybe we had pushed away growing up in a predominantly white society, and during those workshops of identity, we also came together and ate together."

Interview with Kevin Wilson, CEO of Chai. "I'm in the business of changing minds. I really want to be a part of the conversation of building bridges and creating aha moments for the other."
